Fast-forward to May 18th, Athrun is running a little late to the party due to a meeting. When he arrives at Cagalli's house, he is met face-to-face with a somewhat exasperated Kira. When Athrun asks him what is going on, he explains that the moment Lacus and he entered Cagalli's home, Lacus dragged a rather unwilling Cagalli into the changing room and he had been waiting for them to come out ever since. Suddenly, they hear some shouting from the changing room, of Cagalli refusing to do what Lacus is asking her to do. To their surprise, Cagalli is then pushed out of the changing room. And lo and behold, she is wearing one of those strapless evening gowns (completed with a choker necklace and earrings) that she absolutely dreads. It turns out Lacus and Mana (Cagalli's nanny) forced Cagalli into this gown because they want to dress up the birthday girl for Athrun. Cagalli, on the other hand, is not too pleased, as she keeps insisting that this is not her type. But Lacus ignores her and drags Kira off to the kitchen to help with the food, purposely leaving Athrun and Cagalli alone in the living room. And judging by the sweatdropping look on Kira's face, he realizes Lacus' plan right away. (OMG! Lacus is so wicked!!! I so love her!!! <3) Back inside the room, Cagalli starts stuttering about how she doesn't look any good in a gown like this. But she is silenced by Athrun when he reaches out to caress her hair and tells her that she looks really cute. *heart beats at 180bpm* Cagalli is so embarrassed that she hides her face in Athrun's chest while she attempts to squeeze out a thank you. Seeing her cute reaction, Athrun can't help but chuckle. And anyone want to guess what Cagalli's reaction to his chuckling is? You get a gold star if you guess "she gets mad at Athrun for laughing at her". XD But Athrun calms her down by handing her a small jewelry box. (OMG! IS THAT A RING???) "I was born on the month of October. That is five months away from now. Until then, please wait for me... princess." And then he leans down to kiss her. (Kyaaaaaaa~~~ That is SO a proposal!!! And he sealed the promise with a kiss too!!! *overloads with AsuCaga sappiness and explodes*) The story then ends with scenes from the party, where we see Cagalli hiding her hand whenever people glance at her. Wai, wai, wai! Athrun DID give her a ring!!! *does the happy dance* XD

The second part of the story is pure fluff, beginning with the two... for the lack of a better word... cuddling in bed while Athrun is playing with Cagalli's hair! Judging by how their clothes are all over the floor, it is obvious that Athrun just completely totally thoroughly smexed Cagalli and they're now cuddling. (OMG! Athrun is wearing nothing but his Haumea mamori necklace!!! XD) It seems like Cagalli had a bad day and she went to Athrun for comfort. But she feels really bad for being so dependent on him. She knows he has his own troubles and thus, she feels awful for burdening him with her troubles as well. Of course, Athrun doesn't feel this way. He is happy as long as he is by her side, he wishes to be the pillar that she leans on whenever she is weak, and he hopes to be the one who can help her whenever she encounters any trouble. And the story ends with Athrun's little narration, of him realizing that it has become an "amai shuukan" (roughly translated as a "sweet habit") for him to let Cagalli have the left side of his bed. *melts into a puddle of sap goo*

The story begins with Athrun working diligently on his computer while waiting for Cagalli, his girlfriend, to return home. And suddenly, Cagalli bursts through the door with puppy Shinn in her arms. Immediately upon seeing Shinn, Athrun silently terms him as "a typhoon that will cause havoc to the household". (And he is so right!!!) Cagalli then explains that she saw the abandoned puppy in an alleyway. Not wanting him to go hungry or homeless, she decided to take him in and bring him home. Tada! This is the story of how puppy Shinn came to join Athrun and Cagalli's "family". At first, Athrun seems a bit reluctant to keep the puppy (since puppy Shinn DOES look like he is ready to bite anything and everything that comes within a 5 mile radius of him). But Cagalli frowned, and pouted a bit. And within 0.5 seconds, Athrun is defeated and decides to let Cagalli have her way. XD Unfortunately, though he looks really cute, puppy Shinn is really stubborn and NEVER listens to anything Cagalli says and only listens to Athrun. (And Cagalli was the one who took him in in the first place!!!) He is also not at all fond of Kira. When Kira and Lacus came to visit Athrun and Cagalli one time, Kira tries to pet puppy Shinn, who wouldn't stop growling. And the next thing they know, puppy Shinn has bitten Kira and refused to let go. XDDDDD Later in the story, puppy Shinn meets puppy Stellar, who got lost from her owners Auel and Sting, on the street one day and finds himself developing a little crush on her. Athrun seems to have noticed this and semi-teases puppy Shinn. Hopefully, now that puppy Shinn is in love, he'll... uhh... mature a bit and won't be as bratty as before? (Who am I kidding? This is Shinn we're talking about... :P)
