This is Ichikaze Kouro's first Dearka x Miriallia doujinshi, with a rather bittersweet story. It begins with Dearka and Athrun, while repairing their Mobile Suits, having a conversation about the current war. Dearka confesses to Athrun that he is fighting this war alongside with the Naturals because he wishes to protect someone (Miriallia), and he knows that Athrun is in the same situation as him as well (that Athrun has someone he wishes to protect too).

The scene then jumps to a bit later. As Dearka is heading back to his room to call it a night, he stops by Miriallia's room and sees her crying in her sleep with Tolle's old EA uniform jacket draped over her lap. Unable to stand this sight of her, he makes a silent promise that he'll never let her cry again, sealing the promise with a kiss on her forehead. Later, Miriallia wakes up and finds Dearka's Orb red jacket instead of Tolle's EA uniform jacket on her lap. Annoyed, she stomps over to Dearka's room, throws the jacket back at its owner, and berates him for being such a bother to her. But Dearka suddenly turns somber and asks her if she was crying in her sleep again. Upon hearing this, Miriallia turns silent... and then asks Dearka to stop being so friendly and nice to her. When asked why, she refuses to give an answer. But Dearka knows the answer. She doesn't want to let anyone close to her because she is afraid of falling in love. And he doesn't hesitate to voice out his thoughts.

Miriallia, however, denies his words, by trying to say that she still loves Tolle. But Dearka notices how hard she is struggling with saying Tolle's name out loud. And he stops her at the last moment, with a touch to her lips. Knowing that she is still unable to let go of Tolle and his memories, he tells her it's all right. But at the same time, he won't give up so easily. (That's the spirit! Go Dearka!!!) Left with no choice, Miriallia slaps away Dearka's hand and walks away. Though she does a bit of blushing his kind gestures. And as Dearka watches Miriallia walk away, he gives a little sigh, knowing that he got her mad again. But then again, he prefers seeing her mad over seeing her cry any day.

I love the cover art of this doujinshi. It's so pretty! It's pink but it's preeetty!!! *oogles the cover* Ahem, right, the stories. There are two stories in this doujinshi, one main story and a short little extra one.

In the main story, Dearka and Athrun have gotten lost while trying to find the cafeteria on Archangel. Seeing Miriallia walking down the opposite hallway, Athrun goes over and asks for directions. While Miriallia is giving proper directions to Athrun, Dearka notices something is wrong and stays behind to talk to her. When they're finally alone, he tells her that she shouldn't bottle up her depression and sadness inside her. At first, Miriallia denies what Dearka is accusing her of and tries to walk away. But he grabs her hand (to stop her) and tells her that while he doesn't like to see her cry, it is sometimes necessary to release these emotions. Upon hearing this, Miriallia finally breaks down and cries for her pain and sadness of Tolle's death. At in the meantime, Dearka is holding her hand, fingers interlaced, as a gesture of support!

Later, when Miriallia is calmed down, Dearka tells her he only likes to see her smiling face because she is cuter with a smile. This, of course, offends Miriallia and she immediately leaves to head back to Archangel's bridge room. But either way, Dearka is happy because he realizes when he held her hand moments ago, she didn't say anything negative about it nor did she try to shrug him off. ^_^

A super short copy-bon by Ichikaze Kouro, but it has an Athrun x Cagalli story!!! *cheers* The art is somewhat sketchy, more sketchier than most copy-bons. But Ichikaze Kouro's Cagalli is so pretty that I don't care!!!

The story takes place after Athrun's return from his visit to Patrick. Cagalli goes to seek him out because she knows he will be troubled by the recent events. And indeed he is. Cagalli, being Cagalli, then berates for thinking so negatively. What's done is done and no one can go back to change the past. And what's lost is lost and none of what was lost can be regained. And it'll only make him more depressed if he insists on dwelling on the past. So he should think positive, and think for a positive future that he will want to fight for and protect. At this point, Athrun is completely flabbergasted because, of all people, Cagalli is the one giving him this lecture. And he can't help but smile a bit upon coming to this realization. However, Cagalli notices the smile, interprets this the wrong way, and grumpily asking him what's wrong. Unable to resist the cute expression on her face, Athrun tries to hug Cagalli to him, but ends up getting pushed away because she is uncomfortable and shy about being so close to him. So he resorts to leaning close to her, allowing her to rest her forehead on his shoulder. And at this exact moment, he realizes the girl in front of him is his positive future, for he wishes to fight for and protect Cagalli at all cost!!! Aww... Athrun is so sweet!!!
