Gah! I LOVE the front cover of this doujinshi! Athrun and Cagalli look so damn good together! And the shading! The sparkles! Preeeetty!!! ^_^ The title "Night and Day" most likely refers to Athrun and Cagalli, since Athrun is supposedly the gloomy one, especially when he thinks too much, while Cagalli is the bright and cheerful one who is always optimistic. Story-wise, like many of the other Gundam Seed doujinshi released in October, this is an Athrun birthday doujinshi (since his birthday is on October 28th). The stories assume that Cagalli had become the Orb representative while Athrun became an engineering student on Plant.

The first story begins with someone stomping into Athrun's apartment early one morning, opening the curtains of his living room and waking him up in the process. When the sleepy Athrun notices the intruder is Cagalli, he asks to know what is going on, in which said intruder angrily yells at him for not informing her that today is his birthday! She didn't know about this until Kira told her over the phone the previous day. So she hopped on the next available shuttle and left for Plant immediately after her last meeting that night. When she finally calms down, she puts on an apron and prepares to bake a birthday cake for Athrun. But a scared Athrun grabs Cagalli to stop her. Why? According to Athrun, the stove exploded the last time Cagalli tried to cook. So he doesn't want to risk their safety. XD Of course, Cagalli is not going to give up this easily. With determination on her cute blushy face XD, she tells him that she wishes to be the one to bake his birthday cake for him this year, next year, and all the following years to come. (Aww.. so cute~ <3) Touched by her words, Athrun embraces her from behind and tells her that he'll do the same for her when it's her birthday. And the two share a sweet and quiet moment in each other's arms... until Athrun notices the ingredients Cagalli bought for the cake: pork, sugar and bean sprout. (OMG! Cagalli is like Orihime when it comes to cooking!!! XDDDDDDD)

Translating to "The Captured Princess", this doujinshi is what Reon Gumi calls an "ero-hon" (an "erotic book"). So yeah, it's smut!!! XD The story assumes that Cagalli became the Orb representative and Athrun stayed as a ZAFT red. Because of their jobs, they hardly get any time together. This is why Cagalli got irritated when Athrun suddenly arrived at Orb without notifying her in advance. If she knew about his trip earlier, she would've moved her meetings to a previous date so that they could spend more time together. And Athrun's reaction to a ranting Cagalli? He grabs her and kisses her... hard... and with tongue too! (Athrun, you dog!!! *smacks him* XD) When he learns that her meetings for the rest of the day are all over, he doesn't waste any time and strips her. And here is where the smexing begins. (Teasing!Athrun is so smexy! And and and... they do it in different positions too! *nosebleeds*) Basically, this is what happens for the rest of this doujinshi: he smexes her, again and again and again while they kiss. XD

Reon Gumi strikes again, with yet another one of her AsuCaga smut doujinshi. The added bonus here is that this is complete crack. Featuring Athrun, Cagalli and Kira as high school students, Athrun (who is dorkified with the new pair of glasses that Reon Gumi gave him) is the Cagalli's boyfriend/tutor, Cagalli is a struggling-to-past-her-exam high school student, and Kira is Cagalli's elder twin brother and of course, also Athrun's best friend. The story is just crack and PWP, starting with Athrun tutoring Cagalli for the upcoming end-of-semester exam. But soon, things get a bit out of hand. *coughs* Unlike most of Reon Gumi's other doujinshi, where Athrun is the one who initiates things, this time it is Cagalli who drives Athrun towards the edge with her innocent yet unintentionally daring actions. And even though Athrun looks like a complete dork with glasses, he knows exactly what to do in such a situation. *snickers* But there is one big problem. Kira is playing video game downstairs while Athrun and Cagalli are studying... uhh... supposed to be studying upstairs. Kira even thinks something along the lines of, "It is rather quiet upstairs. Those two must be working hard." Oh yeah, Kira-niisan, those two are "working" veeerrry hard upstairs. And when the thumping starts? A very concentrated Kira (who is trying to beat a certain mobile suit shooting game) wonders, "Was that an earthquake???" *cackles* Unfortunately, Cagalli is a screamer. And Athrun didn't kiss her (to muffle her scream) in time. Of course, this results in Kira finding out that his precious little sister was NOT studying with her tutor and then he goes into super overprotective "don't you ever dare touch my sister" mode on Athrun. Ah... I love Kira-niisan and his sister complex. XD
