Unlike most of Rix's doujinshi, which seems to consist of either PWP hentai or pure crack comedy stories, this one is actually really serious and quite angsty, focusing on Yzak with light hints of a relationship with Fllay. The story begins with a little prologue, of Yzak thinking of Fllay while he watches Vesalius release her life pod out to space. As her desperate cries of help echo through space, he frowns and gets angry at himself. To him, Fllay is someone not meant to be on the battlefield. But why is fate playing such a cruel joke on her, pulling her to the centre of all attention during such a messed up war? And why is he unable to help her when he needs she is so desperately in need of help?
The scene then jumps to the end of war, Yzak meets Dearka in the hallway of Archangel, where they talk a bit about their future after the war. Dearka flat out tells Yzak that he won't be returning to Plant because of Miriallia. (Yzak had the cutest WTF reaction on his face when he found Dearka is staying behind for a girl who once tried to stab him dead. XD) And somewhere along the way, the conversation topic changed to "the girl whose father was killed by them in a previous battle", in which Dearka found out, through Miriallia and Seigh, that her name is "Fllay". Upon hearing her name, Yzak freezes, obviously shocked by this revelation. Realizing her father died by the hands of Coordinators has given Yzak more understanding as to why Fllay always seemed to be scared of him and other Coordinators.
Once again, we get a scene jump. This time to Dearka meeting up with Miriallia and Seigh in the cafeteria, where they talk about Fllay. From the information gathered from Yzak, and adding that on top of what Miriallia and Seigh knew, the trio put two and two together and sort of figured out what happened to Fllay after she left AA at the Alaska base. They also try to speculate what had happened between Yzak and Fllay, seeing as Yzak had quite an unusual reaction when Dearka brought up her name just a while ago. Though this will forever remain a mystery, as Yzak doesn't seem to want to speak up and Fllay is dead. And as Dearka absorbs the recent information he learned and reflects on how Coordinators were brought up (to hate all Naturals), he realizes that even with this war, nothing has changed. It is his belief that eventually, things will go back to how they once were, with Coordinators and Naturals hating each other.
However, is the future of mankind really as hopeless and pessimistic as Dearka believes to be? Later on, as Dearka seeks out Yzak again, he learns that Yzak has come to a decision to remove the scar on his face. To Yzak, it is pointless to keep the scar now that the war is over. Plus, he does not wish to hold a grudge against anyone, in honour of those who died in this war, specifically his friends (Nichol, Miguel, and Rusy) and that one strange girl he met on the Vesalius. And at the very end of the story, there is a short flashback to a scene to Dominion before the final battle in Gundam Seed, where Fllay is staring out at the space while thinking of Yzak, Kira and the others. It is her sincere wish that she'll get one last chance to see them again, so that she can apologize for all those horrible things she said about/to them. (Though she never got the chance...) And here, we have two examples of a Coordinator and a Natural, both very stubborn in nature, giving in and realizing Coordinators and Natural are indeed not supposed to be enemies. Who knows? The future doesn't seem to be as dark and hopeless as Dearka deems it to be! :)
